Q. Do you have a toll free number?
A. Yes, Our toll-free number is 1-800-621-7613. However, currently it is only accessible in the United States. International calls must be placed to our main number at 1-773-637-7100.
   
Q. Does Radio Flyer make donations?
A. Radio Flyer will consider product donations based on the reason for the donation and availability. All requests for donations must be made in writing, addressed to: Donations, Radio Flyer Inc. 6515 W Grand Ave Chicago, IL 60707. No exceptions. No phone calls or emails will be accepted. All responses from Radio Flyer to donation request parties will be made in writing. Sorry, no follow-up calls will be accepted either.
   
Q. Where can I find Radio Flyer products?
A. Visit our store locator. The store locator lists retailer addresses and phone numbers located in your home zip code. We recommend that you call the retailer before going to the store, to determine if they have the specific Radio Flyer product you are seeking in stock. Or, you can always order all of the Radio Flyer products online at www.redwagons.com. Unfortunately, Radio Flyer does not have retailer inventory and pricing information.
   
Q. What is the warranty on my Radio Flyer product?
A. Radio Flyer's warranty guarantees that our products will remain free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. The warranty is valid only if the product has been assembled per the instructions and has been used as intended. The warranty does not cover abuse, accidents, or cosmetic issues (such as fading, scratches or dents from normal wear or being left out in extreme weather conditions). Q. Can I clean my Radio Flyer?
A. Yes, though cleaning depends on the type of product you own. The following are some cleaning suggestions. Please note, Radio Flyer does not recommend one cleaning product over another.

 
Steel Products: Clean with hot water and a mild detergent using a soft cloth, rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. To protect the finish we recommend that you apply a liquid car wax and buff it out once product is dried.
Plastic Products: Clean with hot water and a mild detergent using a soft bristled brush, rinse with clean water, and dry any metal parts thoroughly.
Wood Products: Clean with hot water and a mild detergent using a soft Cloth, wipe down with clean water and dry thoroughly. To protect the finish we recommend you apply a liquid car wax or polyurethane.
   
Q. Does weather affect my wagon or tricycle?
A. Weather can affect the durability of any product. We recommend the following:
 
Steel & Wood Products: Store in a protected area away from humidity, rain and snow. If the product gets wet, make sure to dry thoroughly. For winter storage, coat the wood & metal parts with a liquid car wax to prevent moisture from damaging the parts.
Plastic Products: Store away from long-term and / or direct sunlight as this may cause some color fading. The product should also be stored in an area that is cooler, as long term heat exposure can warp, de-form, and degrade the molded plastic.
   
Q. Do you have a parts catalog?
A. Radio Flyer's product line is extensive, and at this time a parts catalog is not available.
   
Q. How can I obtain a Radio Flyer catalog?
A. A catalog may be requested on the website in the "Customer Service" section, or by clicking on the following link "Catalog Request". However, Radio Flyer does not sell directly to the general public; the catalog is provided as an informational tool only.
   
Q. Can I submit a photograph of my child with your wagon for use in your catalog?
A. Radio Flyer delights in receiving photographs of our customers enjoying their wagons and the many stories that go along with them. However, due to our policy we only use professional modeling agencies and employee's families for our catalogs and advertising usage. Radio Flyer also does not recommend any one modeling agency.
   
Q. I own a Flexible Flyer Wagon, can I order parts?
A. Roadmaster manufactures Flexible Flyer Wagons. They can be reached at 1-800-626-2811. Radio Flyer parts are not interchangeable with other manufacturers' wagon parts.
   
Q. Can we purchase directly from Radio Flyer?
A. Radio Flyer does not sell directly to the public. However, we have relationships with many retail stores as well as online retailers that carry our product. Please visit our store locator for a store in your home zip code, or order online at www.redwagons.com.
   
Q. Can I buy parts to build my own wagon?
A. Radio Flyer does not sell parts for individuals to build or customize their own wagons. We only supply parts for warranty replacement, or for products out of the warranty period.
   
Q. Are Radio Flyer products recyclable?
A. Yes, Radio Flyer products are recyclable. Please consult your local recycling center for specific instructions.
   
Q. Do you have tours of the Radio Flyer Factory?
A. At this time we do not conduct tours, as our factory does not have the facilities to accommodate visitors.
   
Q. Can I reuse the hubcaps?
A. Radio Flyer hubcaps are designed to remain secure once they are applied. Therefore, removing the hubcap would destroy its function. If you need replacements, please visit our "Order Parts" section, or call us at 1-800-621-7613.
   
Q. I am looking for one of your products, no store seems to carry it, what can I do?
A. Certain products are available in limited supply, and tend to sell very quickly. However, you may still be able to order it online at www.redwagons.com, a full-line Radio Flyer dealer.
   
Q. I purchased one Radio Flyer model but prefer another, can I exchange it directly with Radio Flyer?
A. Radio Flyer does not handle exchanges or returns directly from the general public. We recommend you call the retailer where you purchased your Radio Flyer to ask them about their specific return or exchange policy.
   
Q. How long does Radio Flyer stock replacement parts of discontinued items?
A. Radio Flyer stocks replacements parts for approximately 1-2 years after a product is discontinued. However, availability may vary based on demand.
   
Q. I have a great idea for a new product, how can I submit it to Radio Flyer?
A. Radio Flyer does not accept product idea submissions directly from the general public.
   
Q. Why does Radio Flyer discontinue products?
A. Today's toy industry is more competitive than ever. To be successful, retail stores must freshen their product mix with new items. The same holds true for manufacturers. Radio Flyer must continually develop new toys to meet retail and consumer demand. This leads to the discontinuation of older products to make room for new items.
   
Q. Can you tell me how much my old wagon is worth?
A. Radio Flyer does not maintain information on the value of discontinued or older model products. We recommend contacting a local antique or toy dealer instead.
   
Q. Which Radio Flyer bicycles have brakes?
A. We have brakes on our 12" bicycle(s). Our 10" bicycles, however, do not have brakes. A child at this age is typically not capable of using brakes, and to stop may simply cease pedaling, or place feet on the ground. All of our bicycles comply with CPSC & ASTM Safety Standards.
   
Q. The wheels on my wagon squeak, what can I do?
A. We recommend you use liquid soap between the wheel and the axle.
   
Q. My Navigator (#2400) front wheels do not seem to be functioning properly. What can I do?
A.

First, check the front axles for a "R" for right and "L" for left. Make sure that when you are standing behind the wagon facing forward that the "R" axle is on the right side and the "L" axle is on the left side. If they are on the opposite sides, you will need to remove them and place them on the correct sides. The hubcaps holding the wheels and axles in place will need to be destroyed and will become unusable. Please visit our parts order form or call us at 1-800-621-7613 to order replacement hub caps.

If the axles are on correctly, try putting extra weight in the front of the wagon to increase function. With castor type wheels some shimmying is normal.

   
Q. There is a rubber odor coming from the wheels of Radio Flyer, what can I do?
A. We recommend that you wash the wheels in hot soapy water and that you leave the tricycle or wagon outdoors. The rubber smell will dissipate with usage and time. It is important to note that the odor from the rubber wheels is not harmful and that Radio Flyer uses natural rubber to manufacture its tires.
   
Q. I am refurbishing my wagon what kind of paint should I use?
A. For steel bodied wagons we recommend a high-gloss outdoor enamel spray paint in Fire Engine or Candy Apple Red. On wooden wagons, use semi-gloss outdoor enamel spray paint, once again in Fire Engine or Candy Apple Red. For safety purposes, do not use spray paint indoors.
   
Q. I bought a wagon and the photo on the outside of the carton differs from the actual product inside the carton, why?
A. Radio Flyer constantly reviews its product and components for quality. Sometimes this requires us to make minor changes to a product in mid-production, and time restrictions do not allow for the appropriate changes on the carton artwork.
   
Q. Our All Terrain Wheel doesn't hold air, what can we do?
A. The value stem could be loose, try to tighten the stem. If this doesn't work, you can order a replacement from our website.
